Thomas Rolf Truhitte

 

  Thomas Truhitte has been a Bay Area favorite since his 4 year Tenor Artist in Residency for Opera San Jose where he sang 13 lead tenor roles by such diverse composers as Mozart, Puccini, Verdi, and Bizet.  Since that time, Mr. Truhitte has gone on to perform many lead tenor roles, particularly the heroic roles of  Wagner, Beethoven and Strauss in some of the world's leading opera houses that include Genoa and Spoleto Italy, Monte Carlo, Metz France, Manaus Brazil, Seattle, Hawaii, Toronto, Montreal, and New York City at Lincoln Center, to name just a few garnering rave reviews from the New York Times, Washington Post, and Opera News.  Mr. Truhitte is also an accomplished solo artist in the field of concert, symphony, art song, and Broadway.  He is also a keyboardist and accomplished professional drummer, holds a Black Belt in Taekwondo and currently trains at American Kickboxing Academy. He earned his degrees in Music and Theatre from Cal State Sacramento.
